Hallo PDF · from scratch

Privacy Policy

Last updated: [EFFECTIVE DATE]

This Privacy Policy explains how Hallo PDF ("we", "us", the "Service"), available at hallopdf.com, handles information when you use it. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Your documents stay on your device. Hallo PDF runs entirely in your web browser. The PDFs and images you open are processed locally and are never uploaded to our servers. We cannot see, store, or access the contents of your files.

1. Information we do not collect

2. Information processed in your browser

To make the editor work, the Service stores data locally on your device (using your browser's local storage / IndexedDB), such as the last document you were working on and your preferences (e.g. view mode, renderer choice). This data never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

3. Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage (for example, how many people visit a page). Where used, analytics do not identify you personally. [If you add a specific analytics provider, name it here.]

4. Advertising and cookies

The Service may display advertisements to keep it free. Advertising is provided by third-party vendors, including Google.

For more information on how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps, see Google's "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services".

5. Your choices & rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing, including personalized advertising. Because we do not collect personal documents or account data, most requests relate to advertising cookies, which you can control using the opt-out links above or your browser settings. To exercise any right, contact us at kkwdev@gmail.com.

6. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised accordingly.
