How to merge and split PDFs (free)

Combine several PDFs into one document, or break one PDF into separate files — all in your browser, with nothing uploaded.

Merge PDFs into one file

1. Open the first PDF in the editor.
2. Use Merge and choose another PDF to append its pages.
3. Drag pages in the sidebar to put them in the order you want.
4. Click Save to download the combined PDF.

Split a PDF into separate files

1. Open the PDF you want to split.
2. Use Split to break it into files of N pages each, or split by bookmarks.
3. Or enter a page range (for example 1-3,5) and use Extract to pull just those pages into a new PDF.

Extract or delete specific pages

You can also extract a single page, delete a range of pages, or duplicate and rotate pages — handy for cleaning up a document before sharing it.
